Endowment Fund Grant Proposals due November 1

The Endowment Fund Committee is soliciting proposals for grants to fund modest needs of the church that are apart from the Church’s general operating funds. Up to 5% of the balance of the Endowment Fund will be available for disbursement. Endowment Fund grants will be considered for any use that furthers the mission of the Church, including but not limited to:
Grant Applications are available in the Church office or online at www.foothillsuu.org. Completed applications must be submitted to the Committee by November 1, 2010, by placing them in the Endowment Fund Committee mailbox or handing them to any Endowment Fund Committee member. The Endowment Fund is made up of gifts and bequests and earnings on investments of those funds. Contributions to the Endowment Fund are made up of those donations that are given “in memory of” a person, directed to the “Endowment Fund” or a “Memorial Fund” or given by will, trust, gift annuity, or similar bequest. Contributions to the Endowment Fund can be made at any time, even in small amounts, to serve the church’s long-term needs.
