Growing with Adult Enrichment
We are pleased to welcome you to the Adult Enrichment Program of Foothills Unitarian Church. Our purpose is to nurture and support the religious, spiritual and personal growth of the adult members, friends and visitors in our church community, while providing a respectful environment where diverse ideas can be explored. To fulfill this purpose, a variety of classes and special programs are offered to encourage discussion, debate, reflection, learning, fun and community.
The Adult Enrichment Model
Our many offerings have been designed to conform to the UUA Spirit in Practice
program goal, which is to:
“Convey the value of regular spiritual practice for adult spiritual development” and to have participants “recognize the multi-faceted nature of spiritual practice.”

The classes and events highlighted in this catalogue are presented by month, with an additional listing under broad subject categories. More complete information on specific classes will be made available in our monthly church newsletter, The Intercom, and our weekly email notice, in addition to Sunday Order of Service bulletins and announcements.
...AND NOW, FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
This year, our new RENT-A-CLASS option is offering you the opportunity to enjoy DVD’s from past AE classes in the comfort of your own home. Just stop by the AE table in the Social Hall after Sunday services, see what we have to offer for the price of just one $5 class: Invite as many (or as few) of your friends as you wish to join you in viewing your rented DVD. You might even want to have your own lively discussion over dinner or the coffee table - with RENT-A-CLASS the choice is yours! Maybe you want to ponder the subjects alone in your pajamas—Whatever you choose, this program allows you to enjoy the AE experience in the comfort of your own home.
